2020-2021 Annual Impact Report

"On behalf of Berkshire's Board of Trustees, THANK YOU!

Coming through one of the most challenging years on record, our Berkshire family emerged stronger than ever. I am so proud of our faculty and staff, families, alumni, friends, and most of all our students, who greeted every day with resilience, creativity, and generosity. As we each stepped up in our own unique way to help our fellow Bears and the wider community, we were reminded just how much the Berkshire spirit carries and connects us across time and distance. To all Bears near and far, thank you for your continued support that enables us to move forward together toward an even better Berkshire."

Lara Schefler McLanahan '86, P'16,'16,'19 Chair, Board of Trustees

"Berkshire School has allowed me to grow as an educator and as a person. I have been able to bring many projects to life and have been encouraged by our creative, curious, and innovative community. It has been a pleasure to work with passionate educators and young adults who motivate each other every day."

"I am grateful to be at Berkshire, especially because of the friendly environment. I feel at home away from home and know that I have people around me to help when needed. All the teachers I have make me look forward to going to class each period. My favorite class so far is Modern World History with Mrs. Lyon because she challenges us to connect what we learn in class to the broader world."

"I want to say thank you to all the donors who support Berkshire. I am extremely grateful for their generosity that makes it possible for me and other students to experience Berkshire, to make lifelong friendships and memories. Going to Berkshire has made me a better student and a better person."
