Campus Center
Berkshire’s new Campus Center, opened in spring 2025, serves as the heart of campus life—an inspiring space for dining, gathering, and connecting. The upper level features a spacious dining hall with sweeping views, two private dining rooms, an outdoor balcony, and an open kitchen with a stone hearth oven and several servery lines that offer the community a diverse range of meal options. The lower level, our Student Center, is home to Shawn’s Place café and a relaxed lounge area with casual seating, a large-screen TV, pool and ping-pong tables, as well as direct access to outdoor greenspace—making it a favorite spot for students to gather and unwind.
The Campus Center also houses our new Music Center, Day Student Lounge, The McLanahan Bookstore, mailroom, and Student Life offices. Designed by Voith & Mactavish Architects, the Center was built with sustainability in mind, and features geothermal heating and expansive windows that reflect Berkshire’s deep connection to its natural surroundings.

Music Center
Beyond dining and recreation, the Campus Center also houses our new Music Center with classrooms, practice rooms, a recording studio, and collaborative space.
Day Student Lounge
The Day Student Lounge is a welcoming space designed to accommodate day students and provide them with a comfortable and relaxing environment.
McLanahan Bookstore
The McLanahan Bookstore offers a wide variety of items, from academic textbooks and school supplies to Berkshire-branded apparel and unique gifts, as well as popular snacks.
Mailroom
The mailroom at Berkshire serves as the hub for all incoming and outgoing mail, offering a secure and organized system for handling deliveries.
