Campus Center

Berkshire opened the doors of its new Campus Center, the heart of our campus, in the spring of 2025. The facility features a large dining hall with sweeping views of campus, comfortable seating on two levels, two private dining rooms, an outdoor balcony overlooking our athletics fields, as well as an open kitchen equipped with a stone hearth oven, and a wide-range of meal options. The Student Center, located below the main dining hall, features Shawn's Place, our popular student café with a range of seating options including high-top tables, benches, booths, and comfortable chairs. A popular spot to hang out with friends, the Student Center also includes a lounge area with an oversized couch and wide-screen TV, a pool table, ping-pong, foosball, and access to a large greenspace and patio outside.

In addition to offering an elevated dining and lounge experience, the Campus Center is home to our new Music Center which features three music classrooms, four practice rooms, a recording studio, storage for musical instruments and equipment, office space, and a suite space for gathering and collaboration. Other locations within the Campus Center include the Day Student Lounge, The McLanahan Bookstore, Mailroom, and Student Life Office.

Designed by Voith & Mactavish Architects of Philadelphia, the Campus Center is arguably Berkshire's most important facility given its capacity to bring the community together. Powered by a geothermal heating and cooling system, with large windows to capture natural lighting, the facility was designed to underscore Berkshire's sense of place rooted in its natural setting.
