Basketball - Girls Junior Varsity vs. Kingswood Oxford School

Event Type: Regular

Date: February 11, 2014

Score:Berkshire 33 - KO 15

Event Recap:
After having a long weekend and then a game against Westy cancelled, the Bears were looking forward to getting back out on the court.  They welcomed Kingswood Oxford to campus for a rareTuesday night game.  The team had good energy in warms ups and seemed ready to go as senior Keunna Dill played the final home hoops game of her career.  The first half scoring for the Bears was dominated by Taylor Rathbun (4 points), Brooks Hamilton (4 points), Silvanna Gomez (1 point) and Keunna Dill (6 points) and they went into the break up 7 points.  The second half saw a complete team effort propel Berkshire to 33-15 victory.  Genesis Paulino got on the board with a couple of baskets and Rathbun (10 total points), Gomez (4 total points), and Dill (11 total points) all added to their first half totals.   The win is Berkshire second in their last three attempts.  They do not have much time to rest as they will head down to Canterbury tomorrow to play the Saints.
