Basketball - Boys Junior Varsity vs. Westminster School

Event Type: Regular

Date: February 13, 2013

Score:42 - 59

Event Recap:

The Berkshire Bears dropped a hard-fought game at Westminster on Wednesday afternoon. The Martlets dominated the glass and took advantage of their additional offensive possessions. Westminster was also able to go on a run at the end of the first half to pull away and gain momentum going into the break. Overall, the Martlets were able to out muscle Berkshire down low, as their depth and size proved too much for the Bears.

Will Fortenbaugh played through pain and did a nice job as the focal point of the press break. Creedy Acosta and Nim Farhood handled the ball well and captained the team on offense. Djetry Joseph continues to play hard and scrap under the basket. Colin Fuss, Max Way, and Ben Brigham all made solid contributions on both ends of the floor and were able to hit some timely shots.

The Bears take on the Winged Beaver of Avon this Saturday at Avon.
