Result:Win
Score:Berkshire 4 - Hotchkiss 1

Event Recap:

The Berkshire Bears improved to 2-3 with a win at home over the Hotchkiss Bearcats. Coming off of three consecutive losses, the Bears were hungry for a win. Goalie Haleigh Sullivan ‘15 had 17 saves and allowed only one goal against a strong shooting team, giving her most solid performance to date.

The Bears jumped ahead at 8:23 in the first when Sabrina Tattersfield ‘15 connected with Andie McGraw ‘17 for a beutiful passing play in front of the net. Hotchkiss answered back at 2:50 to tie the game, but their only point of the game would not be enough as the Bears took back the lead at 1:16 at Elle Mattsson ‘15 ripped a wrist shot from the point.

Battling throughout the second and third against a persistent Hotchkiss squad, the Bears looked to open their lead and found the chance with just 1:49 on the second period clock as McGraw struck again. Not ready to rest yet, McGraw teamed up one more time with line-mate Logan Bell ‘15 to drive home the win with only 15 seconds remaining in the game.
