Hockey - Girls Varsity vs. Cushing Academy

Event Type: Regular

Date: January 19, 2014

Score:Berkshire 0 - Cushing 2

Event Recap:
In their second game in as many days, Berkshire took to the ice to face off against Cushing.  Berkshire played well, but Cushing jumped on them early and took a 2-0 lead after six minutes of play.
Despite starting out a little sluggish, Berkshire rebounded well.  The girls put together several quality scoring chances, but just did not have the same touch in front of the next as they did the previous night.  That, combined with solid goaltender in the opposing net made for a tough morning.
Kylie Wilkes '16 led the charge along with Erin Dillon '17 up front.  They both hustled for the puck and made things happen to open up scoring chances.  Lauren Henman '14 had several opportunities off of some nice moves and hard shots, but no matter what the Bears threw at Cushing, they could not put one in the net.
Defensively Olivia Good '16 and Maggie Curran '17 played solid and helped jump start the team after a shaky start.
