Hockey - Girls Varsity vs. Noble & Greenough

Event Type: Regular

Date: January 11, 2014

Score:Berkshire 0 - Nobles 5

Event Recap:
Berkshire was back at it on Saturday afternoon at home against Nobles. They knew that Nobles was going to be a battle (10-0 entering the game), but they were determined to improve upon their last game.

The Bears came out in the first ready to play.  They battled hard for 50/50 pucks and made the necessary adjustments to their game defensively each period.  Despite putting together some great offensive opportunities, the Bears struggled to put one in the back of the net.  Their best opportunity came in the second period when Alli Sugar '16 drove the net hard from a rebound.  The puck popped up and rolled just wide of the right corner.  The trio of Ronnie Lortie '14, Kenzie Lancaster '15 and Maggie Curran '17 played very well and started a lot of the Bears' offensive opportunities.  Kylie Wilkes '16 and Lauren Henman '14 played well up front and Olivia Good '15 had a great game on defense.  Jamie Ernst '15 again was strong in goal making 29 saves.
