Baseball - Boys Junior Varsity vs. Indian Mountain School

Event Type: Regular

Date: May 9, 2014

Event Recap:
T. Gaynor & B. Wilson solid on the mound in JV Baseball's 12-5 win over Indian Mountain School.
Tristan Gaynor got the start for Berkshire, limiting the Falcons to five runs (only three earned) over three inning.  Brady Wilson came in in relief and pitched three scoreless frames.  Luckily for the Bears, a bit of sloppiness in the field and some baserunning mistakes were not enough to halt the recent winning streak.
Offensive highlights came from Cody Lucey and Will Perekslis, on the running and bunting end of a suicide squeeze, respectively;  Chris Cooke, who managed three base hits and three runs scored in the extra hitter spot; and Jack Scarafoni, who drove in two on a pair of clutch hits.
The coaches were impressed with the effort by the two third form hurlers, as both boys showed live arms and a good aggressive approach on the hill.  Some Mizza's on the way home -- does that maybe sound familiar to those reading at home?! -- contributed a fine coda to an enjoyable Friday ballgame with Coach Barillaro's well-coached Indian Mountain side.
