Football - Boys Junior Varsity vs. Trinity Pawling

Event Type: Regular

Date: October 17, 2012

Score:20 - 0

Event Recap:

The JV Football team defeated a physical Trinity-Pawling team on Wednesday 20 to 0 on Shappert Field. Brian Rodriguez threw a touchdown pass to Peter Sweeny for the first score of the day. Peter worked hard to stretch into the end zone along the side line. Berkshire converted the two-point conversion when Rodriguez scrambled out of the pocket and threw to Jay Bolton. The first half ended 8-0. In the second half Brian Rodriguez threw his second touchdown pass of the day, a 45 yard pass play to Will Fortenbaugh. The two-point conversion failed. A 40-yard run by John McAllister in the fourth quarter pushed the lead to 20 points. The Bears played strong defense to record their second consecutive shutout.

The JV team returns to action on October 27 under the lights at 6 PM on Shappert Field.
