Soccer - Girls Junior Varsity vs. Kingswood Oxford School

Event Type: Regular

Date: October 30, 2013

Score:Berkshire 0 - Kingswood Oxford 2

Event Recap:
The Bears came up short today in a hard fought battle at home vs. Kingswood Oxford.  The first half remained scoreless with skilled and aggressive goalkeeping by Lauren Henman ’14,and smart play on defense by Alea Laigle ’17, Neeka Daemi ’17, and Hadley Laskowski ’14.  But the Bears were not able to hold the score there, when in the second half, KO was able to net two goals, both out of the reach of Henman.  The tricky combinations of Kylie Wilkes ’16 and Erin Dillon ’16 gave Berkshire a few good scoring opportunities that just missed for goals.  Emmi Graebner ’14 and Eloise Morrow ’14 also hustled hard all game to try to keep the ball in the Bears’ offensive end.  Overall, it was a good team effort by Berkshire, who will travel to Westminster on Saturday for a 3:00 game.
