Event Recap:

The leaves were in full color for Berkshire’s 2014 Fall Parent’s Weekend, and so were the Bears as they ran their best times of the season.  Berkshire hosted Suffield and Taft in a very exciting match up.  Dalia Banevicius ’17 ran her first meet of her running career.  She ran with tremendous heart and ran ten minutes faster than her last time trial on the same course.  Likewise, Captain Francesca Ghi ’14 ran her first meet for the season and quite literally “left it all on the course”.  Running for the first time this season on her home course was Olivia Silverman ’15 who shaved two minutes off her time from last weekend’s race at Kent School.  The first female overall to cross the finish line was Berkshire’s Sarah Kinney ’15 who clocked her fastest course time of the season.  In fact, she ran almost a minute faster than the last time she raced at Berkshire.

The Berkshire Girls ran with tremendous heart and courage and should be so proud of their outstanding efforts on such a beautiful fall day under the mountain.
