Soccer - Girls Varsity vs. Williston

Event Type: Regular

Date: October 5, 2013

Score:Berkshire 1 - Williston 1

Event Recap:

Berkshire hosted a tough and talented Williston team today at
Berkshire.  Williston came out in the first half and dictated the pace of play.  About twenty minutes in Williston was awarded a free kick about twenty five yards out.  The ball was lofted over the Berkshire line and their striker came running in to score the first goal of the game.  Berkshire worked hard to keep the lead at one with some great work by Paige Rabb '16 and the back line.

Cam Biasin '14 had another solid day in net and made some athletic saves in the second half to keep Berkshire within striking distance.

With roughly twenty five minutes left in the game Keunna Dill '14 stole the ball from the foot of the center back and went to net.  With two girls on her back she took a shot that sailed over the goalie's head and into the top corner of the net.  Berkshire came to life and played some great defense in the last half on the game to keep the score tied.  Berkshire now looks forward to getting prepared for Loomis on Wednesday.  Thanks to all the fans coming out to support!
