Soccer - Girls Varsity vs. Kent School

Event Type: Regular

Date: September 28, 2013

Score:Berkshire 0 - Kent 1

Event Recap:
The Bears went to Kent hoping to keep their momentum from the previous two matches going.  Berkshire was able to do so in many respects.  We played an aggressive game and were able to create many scoring opportunities against the Lions.  Berkshire finished the day with an impressive 25 shots on the day, but, unfortunately, the Bears were unable to find the back of the net.
Kent was awarded numerous free kicks inside our twenty-five and early in the second half they capitalized.  Our defense did a fine job of preventing many direct shots on net all game, and most of their dangerous opportunities came off of these set pieces.  Kate Klimasewski '16 played some quality minutes today and had a dangerous opportunity in the second half that just went wide. Hotchkiss is up next and will be a good challenge for the Bears.
