Soccer - Girls Varsity vs. Wilbraham

Event Type: Regular

Date: September 18, 2013

Score:Berkshire 0 - Wilbraham 4

Event Recap:

The Bears traveled to Wilbraham to play a replay of the quarter final game against the Titans.  Berkshire struggled to maintain possession in the first half of play, and the Titans took advantage and were able to find the back of the net twice.  The Bears continued to work hard and made some adjustments in the second half that led to some quality opportunities from the wing, but unfortunately, we could not capitalize.

Cam Biasin ’14 played a solid game in net today and made several fine saves.  Hannah Cooke ’14 also played a physical, passionate game in the back for 80 minutes, thwarting several dangerous opportunities.  The Bears will regroup over the next few days and prepare for our first home game against Taft on Saturday.  Thanks to the parents who came to support, we appreciated the encouragement from the sidelines and the great snacks after the game.
