We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties. Personal information is any information that could reasonably be used to identify you, including your name, address, email address, social security number, birth date, financial account information, credit card, or any combination of information that could be used for identification purposes. Where consent for the use and disclosure of personal information is required, the School will seek consent from the appropriate person. In case of a student’s personal information, the School will seek the consent from the student and/or parent depending on the circumstances and the student’s maturity to understand the consequences of the proposed use and disclosure. Berkshire School complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”), which prohibits requesting personal information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting verifiable parental consent.

Do Not Track (DNT)
“Do not track" settings are signals or other mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personally identifiable information about an individual consumer's on-line activities over time and across third-party websites or online services. The School currently does not honor the "do not track" signals. Further, third parties engaging in online behavioral tracking for a variety of purposes may or may not collect personally identifiable information related to consumers' online activities over time and across different websites through the School's website.
The website manager takes precautions to protect our users’ personal information. Whenever users submit personal information via online forms or for registration, the transmission of that information is encrypted. Servers that store personally identifiable information are in a secure environment.
