Twiggs Myers: Share your Stories

On Friday, May 11 at 11:30 AM, the school will dedicate the lobby of Berkshire Hall to Twiggs Myers, honoring his nearly 60-year commitment to the institution.  Iconic teacher and coach from 1953 - 1995, Mr. Myers now serves as the school's archivist and on the Board of Trustees.  We invite you to share your stories about Twiggs here.

A tale of Two Twiggs

Twiggs is the only person who I have had the pleasure of meeting in person who has a portrait hanging up in the student center. This fact never occurred to me until a community lunch a few years ago when my advisee group noticed that the manĀ  at the table eating his lunch was sitting right in front of his very own self portrait! My boys were particularly excited to know that such an iconic figure was still on campus. Among the many records Mr. Myers must retain, being able to eat a meal with yourself has to be one of the most unique...
