Kenefick Center For Learning

The Kenefick Center for Learning is available to all students and provides a selection of academic support services, tailored to each individual student.

For students with documented disabilities, KCL implements individual Learning Plans, provides accommodations, and advocates for students. To best serve the students, information regarding individual learning profiles is shared with Berkshire School professionals that work closely with the student.

The KCL is optimally located between the two main academic buildings, Berkshire Hall, where humanities classes are held, and Bellas/Dixon Math and Science Center.

AVAILABLE OPTIONS

EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING, STUDY SKILLS, & LEARNING STRATEGIES

- Learning specialists work one-on-one with students to enhance skills in all subject areas; emphasis is placed on developing learning strategies and executive functioning skills such as organization, planning and prioritizing, task initiation, etc.

- Targeted individual instruction is based on the student's specific learning profile and needs.

- KCL faculty communicate regularly with the student’s teachers, advisor, Form Dean, and family.

Additional fee per semester. Those student accounts that receive Financial Aid will be credited accordingly at the time of billing.
