Hussien El-Desouky (Cairo, Egypt) received an Early Decision acceptance from Dickinson College. New Dickinson head coach Chris Fernandez is excited to welcome senior co-captain Hussien as one of his first recruited athletes. Having competed at Canterbury School, Fernandez is well aware of Berkshire's commitment to fostering academic and athletic excellence.  Fernandez reveals that Hussien's shotmaking ability and his commitment to the team environment make him a great fit at Dickinson and projects El-Desouky to compete in the middle of the ladder for the Red Devils next year.

Kate Whitman (Bedford, NY) parlayed a strong academic record, a broad impact to the athletic program, and a commitment to student leadership into an Early Decision admit to Trinity College. Coach Wendy Bartlett surprises nobody in the Berkshire community when she opines that "Kate is terrific! I am thrilled to have her join us at Trinity." Given the amazing strength of the women's program -- the Bantams are a perennial top-four team who often make it to the CSA championship match -- the senior co-captain will join the squash team as a preferred walk-on.
