The Boys Lacrosse program at Berkshire began a new era in 2010. After winning their fourth consecutive Western New England Secondary School Lacrosse Association (WNESSLA) Division II championship in 2009, the Bears made the move to Division I. The move allowed Berkshire to play against the top competition in New England, and in recent years Berkshire has notched impressive wins against Salisbury, Trinity-Pawling, and Hotchkiss.
As part of preparation for the season, the team participates in an annual spring trip to Florida (Trilogy Lacrosse) to train at a world-class facility and scrimmage against some of the best competition in high school lacrosse. All players in the program are also invited to participate in off-season play through captain’s practices and group workouts, as well as our Sunday Winter Clinics with lacrosse legend Andy Towers.
Following their careers at Berkshire, recent graduates have gone on to play for University of Virginia, University of Vermont, Holy Cross, Bucknell, Bates, Bowdoin, Wesleyan and other to top college programs.
