Berkshire School has a rich and successful tradition in the game of tennis. The Bears play a 14-game season, including two tournaments. We hope these experiences prepare us to compete in our league and become one of the top prep schools in New England.
In order to prepare for competition, players are offered a spring training trip during the March break. For the past several years, the team has traveled to Boca Raton to train at St. Andrews School's world class facilities, and compete against teams such as St. Andrews, Boca Prep and Spanish River. In addition, Berkshire players recently attend the Sony Open where they had a chance to meet some of America’s premiere players.
Playing quality tennis is our focus, and we are looking for players who want to compete, work hard, and do what is necessary for team success. We prepare our players for the next level, which includes working with each player who is interested in playing in college to find a school and program that is a good fit.
