Former Berkshire soccer standout Justin Donawa '15 was selected as the 66th pick in the 2019 Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft.
Donawa, a midfielder at Dartmouth University, was selected by the Columbus Crew in the draft's third round. At Berkshire, the Bermuda-born Donawa teamed up with former MLS SuperDraft first pick Jack Harrison '15 to win three New England Preparatory Scholastic Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Class A championships.
A New England and Ivy League champion track and field athlete as well, Donawa will train with the team this winter and spring in preparation for the 2019 season. He is the fourth Berkshire soccer alum picked up by an MLS team, joining Harrison (NYCFC), Zeiko Lewis '13 (NY Red Bulls), and Jacob Shaffelburg '19 (Toronto FC II).
