Alumni Career Moderator & Panel Bios

James Demmert '82 - Moderator

James is a seasoned and accomplished investment manager with over 40 years of experience in the industry. He is the founder and CIO of Main Street Research and has earned the distinction of being one of Barron’s Top Advisors for four consecutive years. He is frequently featured in media outlets such as CNBC, Bloomberg, CBS News, and Reuters, and has been quoted in publications like The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, and Forbes. Recognized as one of the Top 1200 Financial Advisors by Barrons, James is well-versed as an investment manager, with a particular emphasis on macroeconomic research and investment risk management. He is also an award-winning author, having penned three books on finance and investing, including his latest publication, Wall Street Lessons. He is a recognized speaker and educator and is frequently invited to deliver insightful and informative presentations on a wide range of investment topics.

James is also the Chairman of The Academy of Finance - an non-profit school based here in New York, which helps the next generation become better investors and/or gather the education and experience to start a career on Wall Street.

James also serves on the Berkshire School Board of Trustees and is the proud parent of Stella '25 and Hudson '25.

Nina Bradley Clarke '90 - Panelist

Nina is an Emmy Award-winning journalist. She is a storyteller at heart, having worked in TV news for 15 years. Nina is the founder and host of “Nina’s Got Good News” podcast, available on all podcast platforms. She is also a popular lifestyle blogger, public speaker, brand influencer, and social media consultant. Nina served on the Berkshire Board of Trustees from 2003 to 2008. She currently lives in coastal Connecticut with her husband and two children.

Nicholas Farina '04 - Panelist

Nick serves as Vice President of Operations for EOS Hospitality, the hotel management company within the private equity firm, EOS Investors, where he oversees operational strategy and support for a portfolio of more than 60 hotels across the United States, ranging from several-thousand-unit condo hotels to Forbes 5-Star properties, coast to coast. Based in New York, he specializes in fostering collaborative teams, driving guest satisfaction, and delivering strong financial results throughout the organization. With nearly 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Nick has also had senior management roles at SH Hotels & Resorts (now Starwood Hotels), was one of the first General Managers to help build the 1 Hotels brand in New York City and Nashville, and progressed through various roles across all hotel operations at the Loews Regency and New York Palace, gaining insight into how properties function in every department.

Allison Fox '11 - Panelist

Alli leads business development initiatives at Microsoft, where she drives strategic partnerships, complex negotiations, and large-scale growth opportunities across cloud infrastructure and AI platforms. Based in San Francisco, she is responsible for leading Microsoft’s sales of cloud and infrastructure services to OpenAI, one of the company’s most significant partnerships.

Since joining Microsoft in January 2021, Alli has held multiple roles in corporate business development and strategy, with experience spanning the healthcare and financial services sectors.

Michael Harrison '04 – Panelist

Michael is a Senior Executive Vice President and General Manager at starpower, a part of Real Chemistry. As a leader in celebrity talent, lifestyle influencer, healthcare provider (HCP) influencer, and patient influencer marketing, he is responsible for the firm’s operational management, and has conceived, negotiated, and executed some of the most high-profile and innovative partnerships, yielding meaningful business results. Specializing in the intersection of Hollywood and Healthcare, Michael leads starpower’s Health & Wellness Team -- 45+ experts who transform cultural trends into partnerships that advance brands’ objectives.

Angela Lange Meredith-Jones '87 - Panelist

Angela is an art historian, private collections manager, art advisor, and ceramicist. Experienced in the practices of galleries and museums, Angela works in the visual arts in New York City and has held director positions at Tony Shafrazi Gallery and Anton Kern Gallery, as well as curatorial and collections specialist titles in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art, New York. She has worked privately as a curator and collections manager, as well as with artists cataloging their work. Angela also creates hand-built functional and decorative objects for the table and home, made of porcelain.

Additionally, Angela serves as both a Berkshire School Trustee and is a member of the Berkshire School DEI Alumni Council. She is the proud parent of two Berkshire alums, Mirabelle '25 and Caspar '25.
