Financial Aid Timeline

Below you will find a timeline for applying for financial aid, including important deadlines during the process.

NOVEMBER 1

Start of the 2018-2019 financial aid process.

Go to www.sssbynais.org/parents to create an account with School and Student Services (SSS*) and complete your Parent Financial Statement (PFS).

• Make sure to list Berkshire as a recipient using the school code 1612.

• To document any special circumstances, please add an explanation at the end of your PFS under Other Information.

*SSS’s third-party assessment provides an objective estimate of the amount that each family can contribute towards a private school education. Subsequently, we work closely with individuals to understand any extenuating factors that may influence their ability to pay.

JANUARY 15

Deadline for submitting the PFS, 2016 tax documents, and any additional information.

MARCH 1

Deadline for submitting 2017 tax documents

MARCH 10

Notification of admission and financial aid decision.

APRIL 10

Contracts and deposit due.
