Fifth Form College Program

The Fifth Form College Program is a two-day winter event designed to help juniors and their parents better understand the college process. The Mock Application Review is an invaluable part of the program, during which visiting college admission officers assess mock applications from Berkshire.

Parents learn first-hand how college application decisions are made, giving them an advantage during the lengthy, competitive process. Connecticut College, Davidson, UCLA, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), University of Notre Dame, Sewanee, University of Richmond, Skidmore, and Trinity have been among the recent college admission panelists.

Additional Info

The College Admissions Panel on Wednesday evening, January 30th, features four admissions officers from colleges and universities of varying admissions selectivity, size, and geography. This is a convenient opportunity for current Fifth Formers and their parents to learn more about the process and expectations of college admissions.

The Mock Application Review on Thursday morning, January 31st, features the visiting college admissions officers' review and assessment of mock applications from Berkshire. This is a unique window into how college admissions decisions are made. It is historically the most interesting and informative component of the two-day program for parents.

Although Berkshire athletic contests are scheduled for Wednesday afternoon, any students with away games are scheduled to return to campus in time to attend the College Admissions Panel that evening.
