Advisory Program

Imagine heading off to Berkshire and immediately having someone on your bench—your advisor, who’s there to cheer you on, guide you, and help you make the most of your time under the Mountain. Your advisor isn’t just a resource; they’re a mentor who gets to know you—including your academic goals, personal passions, and even the college you’re most drawn to. Research shows that building these deep connections with adult mentors fosters character, accountability, and confident communication.

Every student is a part of a small, diverse advisory group made up of students from different grades and backgrounds—meaning you’ll be supported by and get to learn from people you might not otherwise meet.

A Meaningful Connection

Our advisors are available to students from day one at Berkshire to graduation and beyond. They meet with students regularly for dinners and weekly for advisee lunches. In addition, students and advisors have a scheduled weekly meeting, which is built into their academic day.
