During Pro Vita week, Spanish teacher Elaine Tolvo traded in her Telenovelas for a different kind of story: a StoryCorps class.

Students in the class learned to conduct interviews that allow people to tell their stories in a compelling and unique way. Students began by telling their own stories, then learned how to construct questions that might draw out other peoples' stories.

The students began the process by interviewing members of their families and later asked questions of alumni and long-time teachers at Berkshire. The following interviews are archived on the StoryCorps website:

Javier Cruz '96 and students Mr. McCabe and Charlie Goldstein '17
Mr. Meade and Matthew Sedgwick '18 Robin McGraw '70 and Tony Tolvo
Ed Hunt '61 (and wife Fran) and Allie Kohlkins '18 Amanda Morgan and Anita Loose-Brown
Peter Kinne and KC Clow '69 Elaine Tolvo and Peter Kinne
Mrs. Bullock and Nenyasha Shoko '19
