SAT Tutoring Program
Berkshire School’s SAT Tutorial program combines small group
instruction with access to online resources in order to prepare students to
achieve their best scores on the SAT.
Students meet twice weekly to prepare for the SAT, with one session
devoted to math and the other to critical reading and writing skills.
The faculty focus on introducing the
types of questions students will face, reviewing the relevant content, and
sharing key test-taking strategies to maximize students’ performance on test day.
In its third year of operation, this course is available to
juniors and is designed to prepare them for the May SAT. In addition to in-class instruction, students
receive test preparation books and have access to the online resources of the
College Board test prep curriculum.
While the class is optional, enrollment has been consistently strong
each year, with the vast majority of fifth form students taking advantage of
all the class has to offer.
