Basketball - Girls Junior Varsity vs. Canterbury

Event Type: Regular

Date: February 12, 2014

Score:Berkshire 42 - Canterbury 21

Event Recap:

Berkshire made their way down to Canterbury on the eve of another massive snow storm.  Despite the gloomy weather predictions, the team was in high spirits coming off of a nice win last night against Kingswood Oxford.  Right from the start of the game it was clear that Berkshire’s hot hand made the trip down with them as Keunna Dill (9 total halftime points) and Taylor Rathbun each hit two big three pointers in the first half while Brooks Hamilton (5 points), Didi Fade (1 point), and Juyoung Lee (2 points) all contributed to a 23-14 halftime lead.  The second half saw more of the same as Berkshire continued to hit shots and play some lockdown defense on their way to a 42-21 victory. Keunna Dill led all scorers with 14 points, while Hamilton (11 points), Rathbun (10 points), Fade (3 points), and Moet Matsuoka (2 points) all contributed offensively to the win.  It is Berkshire’s third win in their last four games.
