Playing back to back days, the Bears hoped to change their luck after a tough loss last night. They welcomed Kent in for their home-opener. While Berkshire got off to a slow start by only scoring seven points in the first half, they began to show signs of life and play more like a team in the second half. Led by Captain Taylor Rathbun (10 points) and Keunna Dill (6 points) Berkshire erased its 8 point halftime deficit to win the game in the final minute by 2 points. Genesis Paulino, Didi Fade, and Moet Matsuoka also added baskets in the winning effort. Gracie Kraft and Juyoung Lee also had strong defensive efforts for the Bears. With the win, Berkshire evens its record for the season at 1-1. They will take on Indian Mountain School next Wednesday.
