Berkshire started up the New Year by facing a tough Williston Northampton team at home.  After some back and forth action Berkshire finished the half on a small run to take a 13-12 lead by Hong Minh Ngo’s 6 points.  The second half saw Berkshire break the game open and establish a 30-20 point lead only to see Williston close the gap to 30-27 before Hong Minh Ngo (14 total points) iced the game with a basket in the last 20 seconds to seal a 32-27 victory.  Taylor Willi added 9 points and had a strong defensive game as well.  Captain Liza Bernstein added 6 points and 12 rebounds while Krisse Niemi (2 points) and Kim Henry (1 point) rounded out the scoring.  With the win Berkshire moves to 3-1 and prepares for a big week facing Millbrook, IMS, and Choate.
