Basketball - Boys Thirds vs. Trinity Pawling

Event Type: Regular

Date: February 12, 2014

Score:Berkshire 43 - TP 31

Event Recap:
The Berkshire Bears returned home after a four game road stint to face off against Trinity Pawling for the second time this year.  TP handled the Bears in their first meeting, going up big early, and controlling most of the game holding off a late game surge by Berkshire. The home stand brought about a different series of events. Tony Borraco (’14) and Justin Donawa (’15) led off the game with back to back three point shots, and Berkshire never looked back winning 43-31. Donawa lead the way for Berkshire again with 21 points, a game high. Borraco was next in scoring for the Bears with 8 points. Though scoring may not have been spread out amongst the Bears it was a complete team win. Luke Lockwood (’16) and Savas Tutumlu (’14) were relentless on the boards, while Quentin van der Lee (’16) and Komar Martinez-Paiz offered a spark on the defensive end. The Bears will go back on the road to face The Rhinos of Tafton Saturday (2/15).
