The Bears notched their tenth win of the season on Friday with a 30-26 victory over Indian Mountain. Berkshire had an unusual first half as they raced out to an early ten-point lead. The Bears had normally started slow this season, but began the game playing inspired defense and working hard on the offensive end to share the wealth. That lead held going into the half with the Bears sporting a 18-8 lead. The Bears have normally been a second half team, but again going against form showed them go stone cold from the field. They were held scoreless for over 15 minutes as Indian Mountain slowly worked its way back into the game. Indian Mountain tied the game at 26 with under two minutes to go, but the Bears finally woke up to score the last baskets of the game. The Bears win a squeaker, 30-26.
