The Bears hosted Williston Northampton on Saturday and dropped a tight, well-played contest 1-6 with most matches decided in five games.  Mike Schiffer at #4 earned Match of the Day honors with a gritty five-game win capped by a 14-12 win in the deciding fifth game. Kevin Kang (#2), Jimmy Chung (#3) and Bao Nguyen (#5) all went to five games and with most requiring extra points...three matches that featured some great points and a narrow victory for their WNH opponent. Brian Rodriguez, just up to #9 on the ladder following last week's challenge matches, notched an impressive 2-0 win in his exhibition match, and Hunter Borwick had a strong debut with a 2-1 comeback exhibition win at #11.

Special thanks to Mr. Thomas for a cornucopia of drinks and snacks that the Bears enjoyed post-match and which provided a nice ending to a good afternoon of squash.
