On Saturday, the Bears looked to redeem their Friday night performance and came outflying early in the afternoon. After an exhausing Friday night game, Haleigh Sullivan ‘15 was glad to see only 9 shots from Loomis.

Elle Mattsson ‘15 opened the scoring early with a shot from the point at 13:23. She was followed in the period by two more unassisted goals from the sticks of Kara Falck ‘15 and Andie McGraw ‘17 at 9:42 and 1”23 respectively.

After another goal to start the second, this time on a connection from captain Maureen McCarthy ‘14 to Elizabeth Hosage ‘15 after moving up to forward for the game, it was time to make adjustments on the bench. With several forwards moving back to help out on defense, the goals kept coming for the Bears with more unassisted tallies from McCarthy, Hannah Honan ‘15, Lexi Merrison ‘15, and Liza Jane Branch ‘15.

After back-to-back games, the Bears are looking to continue their momentum through the final three games of the season versus Greenwich Academy, Westminster, and a final match-up against Rumsey Hall.
