The Lady Bears ended a strong 2012-3 campaign on a note of triumph, finishing 8th at the New England tournament, continuing the improvement shown in the past three seasons. Competing against peer schools in western New England, the Bears fought their way to a 8-5 match record, including wins against Kingswood-Oxford, Kent, Williston, Canterbury and Millbrook, and close losses to Suffield and Hotchkiss. In addition to our demanding interscholastic schedule, we play at least one team tournament during the season and culminate with the NEISA championships.
This year's team anticipates strong leadership, gritty play and international flair from five rising seniors: Michaelann Denton (Jamaica), Serena Menges (New York), Edeline Loh (Singapore), Allie Brazo (Connecticut) and Clementina Davila (Mexico).
