|Score:||Berkshire 1 - Gunnery 2|
Berkshire felt good heading into the afternoon game against Gunnery. They had a solid weekend on the road and a couple of great practices. In the opening minute of the game, Kenzie Lancaster '15 drove into Gunnery's end and fired a hard shot in to the net. Lauren Henman '14 had the assist on the goal. Kylie Wilkes '16 drove hard to the far post and became a scoring threat on the play, soKenzie was able to drive in and see the opening short side. This was a great start for Berkshire, but it was not going to last.
Jamie Ernst '15 was the star of the second period for Berkshire. The Bears found themselves running around in their own zone and out of position. The Gunnery squad continued to put pressure on Berkshire and fired a total of 13 shots on goal (several point blank opportunities). Ernst stood tall in goal and shut them down. Berkshire remained up by one after two.
The third period was all Gunnery. Berkshire's best opportunities came from some hard work from Erin Dillon '17 who fired through a screen and drove the net hard for a rebound, and from a quick shot from the point from Olivia Good '15 that again created a rebound opportunity. Despite these opportunities, it was Gunnery who took control of the game. They continued to pressure the Bears hard around the goal and pushed one past Ernst with just under ten minutes remaining to tie the game. Berkshire began to scramble a bit and The Gunnery put a second one in off of a rebound that found two Gunnery players alone in front. The game would end 2-1.
