Hockey - Boys Varsity vs. Hotchkiss

Event Type: Regular
Advantage:Home

Date: January 23, 2013

Result:Win
Score:7 - 1

Event Recap:

The boys varsity hockey team played host to the Hotchkiss Bearcats yesterday at the Jackman Stewart Athletic Center. These two teams had played each other the week before at Hotchkiss and Berkshire had prevailed. Ten days later the result was much the same at Berkshire's home rink. Jeff Thompson '14 got the Bears on the board first when he banged in a rebound off a shot from Nate Summers '14. From there Berkshire never looked back. Charlie Corcoran '14 would finish with a hat trick. Tipper Higgins '14 had two goals of his own and Craig Puffer '14 had five (5!) assists. Adam Tracey '14 added a nice tally on the power play off a nifty pass from Matt Renzi '13. In net Tim Ernst '13 made the saves needed to secure the victory.

The Bears are back in action at home this Saturday against Salisbury.
