Event Recap:

The Bears traveled to Albany Academy for their first game of the season. Tipper Higgins '14 got his first goal as a Berkshire Bear midway through the first period on the power play. Higgins added another goal six minutes later off a great feed from Nate Summers '14 to give the Bears the early 2-0 lead. Albany would cut the lead in half in the closing minutes of the period. After the first the score stood at 2-1.

In the second period Craig Puffer '14 scored off assists from Charlie Corcoran '14 and Jack O'Donahue '13 to extend the Bears' lead to 3-1. Solid netminding by Tim Ernst '13 and good team defense allowed the Bears to hold onto their lead through the third period and earn their first win of the season.

The Bears are back in action this Saturday night at 7PM when they face Taft at home.
