Western New England Class B Champions • 2012

OVERVIEW

The girls’ lacrosse program at Berkshire School emphasizes improvement, commitment, teamwork, and most of all fun. We play a very competitive schedule that includes many of the traditional prep school powerhouses like Loomis Chaffee, Greenwich Academy, Hotchkiss, and Taft. Our practices are high-intensity, focused, and efficient, incorporating fitness into skills work at all levels.

Our 16-game season begins in early April and wraps up at the end of May. Berkshire's two artificial turf fields ensure that upon return from our spring break trip to Florida we can practice outdoors in order to prepare for our first game against Northfield Mount Hermon.

2013 SEASON

The 2014 season marked a solid year for the Bears. However, the 2015 season looks incredibly promising with 16 letter winners returning to the field, including Lower New England selections Sandra Stephan ’15, Molly Crabtree ’15, and Sabrina Tattersfield ’16 as well as 2014 high-scorer Sophia Peluso ’16. The addition of some talented new students to the mix makes the future of the program, at both the Varsity and JV level, very bright.
