Berkshire ended a busy weekend of beating Trinity Pawling on Saturday and having the senior prom on Sunday, and got ready to take on Gunnery Monday for the McKee Cup. The two schools have been competing for the cup since 2006 when Parker and Will McKee were seniors at Berkshire School and Gunnery respectively. Berkshire has held the cup since its creation. Gunnery came out strong in the game and took a 2-0 lead before Berkshire bounced back and took a 7-4 lead into halftime. The second half almost mirrored the first and Berkshire won the game 14-7. Charlie Corcoran had a record day scoring 6 goals and added 4 assists to lead the Bears. Connor Waldron was close behind adding 4 goals and 2 assists, while Mitchell Andres had 2 goals and 3 assists. Regan Haas, Sam Merritt, and Barclay Gammill rounded off the scoring for the Bears. Sam Hahn had a great day facing off winning 17 of 22 draws and picked up 11 ground balls. Connor Shalleck and Dillon Cunningham combined for 9 saves in the game. With the win Berkshire moved to 6-4 on the season.
