Berkshire traveled down to Kent Saturday afternoon for a match up with another tough league opponent. Berkshire got on the board midway through the first and added a second goal with just 29 seconds left to take a 2-0 lead. Kent fought back in the second quarter but Berkshire held a 5-4 halftime advantage. The third quarter saw each side add 3 goals apiece and Berkshire headed into the final quarter up 8-7. The fourth quarter belonged to the Bears and they jumped out to 12-8 lead before Kent added a goal with 40 seconds left but it was too little too late and Berkshire secured the victory.
Berkshire was led offensively by sophomore Connor Waldron who had 4 goals and 2 assists. Fellow attackmen Charlie Corcoran (3 goals, 3 assists) and Mitchell Andres (2 goals, 3 assists) also had fine games for the Bears. Junior Noah Arin added two goals in the win and sophomore Barclay Gammill had a goal as well.
Faceoff man Sam Hahn had a great day for the Bears winning 16 of 24 draws and sophomore goalie Connor Shalleck made 12 saves in between the pipes.
