Lacrosse - Boys Varsity vs. Avon Old Farms School

Event Type: Regular

Date: April 9, 2014

Event Recap:
Berkshire welcomed Avon Old Farms to campus playing their third straight top 25 team in the country.  The Bears came out hot and took a 2-0 lead on goals from Charlie Corcoran and Mitchell Andres (both would end up with two goals for the game).  Avon tied the game at two late in the first, but the Bears took the lead back on the first of three Connor Waldron goals.  The action would swing back and forth but Avon went on a late run and took an 8-6 lead into halftime.  The second half saw the Bears battle but the Avon offense was too much for them to handle and the game was lost 13-8.  Sam Hahn had a nice day at the faceoff circle winning 20 of 27 draws and Noah Arin finished up with a goal and an assist.  The Bears travel to Loomis this Saturday for the first of four games on the road.
