Lacrosse - Boys Varsity vs. The Loomis Chaffee School

Event Type: Regular

Date: April 13, 2013

Score:8 - 11

Event Recap:

Berkshire welcomed Loomis to campus Saturday afternoon looking to bounce back from a tough loss to Avon.  Bob Fiamengo opened up the scoring when he received a pass from Regan Haas and put it by the Loomis goalie.  Unfortunately, the Bears offense went cold and Loomis scored the next four goals before Charlie Corcoran answered back for Berkshire. Still, the Bears trailed 4-2 at the end of the first.  The second quarter went the same as the first and Loomis led Berkshire 8-4.   Sam Woodcock and Regan each scored off of Charlie Corcoran feeds.

The second half saw a better effort from the Bears and they closed the gap due to points from Michael Allen, Regan Haas, Charlie Corcoran, Sam Woodcock and Quin Pompi.  Despite this, they fell short 11-8.  Connor Shalleck and Dylan Cunningham did a nice job splitting duties between the pipes for the Bears.
