Lacrosse - Boys Varsity vs. Northfield Mount Hermon

Event Type: Regular
Advantage:Away

Date: March 30, 2013

Result:Win
Score:13 - 9

Event Recap:

Berkshire came back from a successful spring trip in which they got to play teams from New Jersey, Virginia and Texas and were ready to start the season.  Berkshire had to make the long haul up to NMH and the long travel showed as the team was a bit sluggish to start, and NMH took advantage by scoring the first two goals.  Berkshire did roar back and took a one-goal lead into halftime.  The third quarter saw each side put in a couple more and Berkshire maintained its one-goal edge.  The fourth quarter would turn out to be a different story as Berkshire out-gunned NMH to win their first game of the season, 13-9.  Berkshire was led offensively by Charlie Corcoran, Sam Woodcock, Robbie Fiamengo, Michael Allen, Noah Arin and, surprisingly, defenseman Jack O’Donoghue, who recorded two goals in his Berkshire debut and was a monster on groundballs.  Berkshire will not have a lot of time to celebrate their win as they will host Deerfield on Wednesday.
