Event Type: Regular

Date: April 17, 2013

Score:11 - 2

Event Recap:

The Bears took on the undefeated Miss Hall’s squad in Pittsfield on Wednesday and came out on top with a strong 11-2 win.  Krissy Govertsen ’15 stepped out of her shortstop position for the first time of the season to pitch a complete game with an impressive six scoreless inning and four strikeouts.  It was a full team effort for Berkshire offensively to put the eleven runs on the board, including triples from Alli Sugar ’16 who went 2-2 with 2 walks and Ivey Mueller ’16 (tripling in her debut at bat of the season) who went 2-3 with a walk.

The Bears, now 4-1, face Suffield at home on Saturday.
