The Bears traveled to Salisbury for an important division matchup. The Knight jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first. The Bears rallied for a run in the top of the third when Nate Summer '14, who had two hits on the day, drove in Alden Boldt '14 with a single up the middle. Unfortunately, that is all Berkshire could muster off of Salisbury's hard throwing righthander. WIll Aldam '14 started on the mound for the Bears and after a couple walks in the first inning, he really challenged the Salisbury hitters. He only let up three hits in his 5 innings of work, but Salisbury took advantage of errors in the field to add to their lead. The Bears now set their sights on Pomfret this weekend and will be focused on playing quality baseball. Thanks to all the fans that made the trip down 41 - we really appreciated your support!
