Event Type: Regular

Date: April 27, 2013

Score:11 - 0

Event Recap:

The Bears traveled to Wilbraham for a league game on a beautiful sunny afternoon.  Jackson Aldam '14 started on the mound and threw five innings to earn his first win of the season.  Aldam gave up to the first batter of the game and then did not let another hit for the rest of his outing.  Brian Rodriguez '16 threw the final two innings to secure the win for the Bears.

The game had no score until the third inning when Wilbraham's pitcher walked Sam Perkins '14 to bring in Adam Tracey '14.  Rodriguez then stepped to the plate and doubled to drive in two runs.  The Bears kept their three-run lead until the sixth when they scored six to secure the win.  Jesse Hahn '13 ended the day with three hits and both Perkins and Ian Rasmussen '14 ended with 2 RBIs.

The Bears will continue with their league play with Salisbury next Wednesday.  Thanks to the parents who made the drive out and supported the team.
