This was a disappointing day for the Bears. After a four game win streak, we were feeling confident that things were coming together for the girls. With a home game after a long SAT morning, we believed we would take control of the game right from the very first whistle. The first five minutes were the best minutes of the game for the Bears. Within the first five minutes of play, we found ourselves up 1-0 off a beautiful corner play from Olivia Good ’15 that Ronnie Lortie ’14 tapped in off the post. We had just finished celebrating and were about to consider making another run at the goal when Williston retaliated with two goals within two minutes. Williston’s #2 scored both goals and went on to break their school scoring record as she scored three more to add five total goals to her resume on Saturday. Emily Czajkowski ’15 kept us competitive with 16 saves. Hopefully this was a good loss in the long run as we look to pull things together to face Class A powerhouse, Taft on Wednesday.
