The JV Football team borrowed a few varsity players to host the New York City Lions, a club team from New York. The Lions beat the Bears 28 to 18 in a very close contest at home under the lights of Shappert field. Berkshire was leading with about 4 minutes to play and had the Lions in a fourth and five situation. The Lions converted the first down and went on to score to take the lead. The Bears pressed in the last minute and an interception run back for a touchdown by the Lions accounted for the final score. Touchdowns for the Bears were scored by Charlie Erdmann, John McAllister and Eric Smith. The JV Bears will host Hotchkiss on November 7 for their final game of the season.
