Soccer - Boys Thirds vs. Williston Northampton

Event Type: Regular
Advantage:Away

Date: November 3, 2012

Result:Loss
Score:2 - 4

Event Recap:

On a cold fall day, the Bears traveled to Easthampton to take on Williston Northhampton.  The Bears started the game slowly, and gave Williston an early two-goal lead.  However, with the return of George Frick to the defensive line, the Bears held off several additional opportunities.  To end the half Hunter Reynolds found Si Tovlo just outside the goal to pull the Bears within one.  Si made a nice redirect of Hunter's pass and headed the ball in right side of the goal.  The Bears continued to control the ball offensively at the start of the second half.  And on a penalty kick, Chris Kreke tied the game at two.  Despite a sustained possession, the Bears let in two goals soon after.  Unfortunately, the Bears could score another goal--although we had numerous chances.

To end the season, the Bears look to take on Avon Old Farms on Wednesday.
